The School of Preliminary Studies at Nile University of Nigeria (NUN) has begun selling application forms for admission to its pre-degree programme for the academic year 2022/2023. This programme is a full-time rigorous course designed for students seeking admission to any institution through direct entry. Students are exposed to a wide variety of skills and knowledge in courses related to the degree they choose to pursue at the university during the 12-month programme. The program's content includes a mix of Nigerian and international A'Level courses, allowing students who meet the program's standards to receive straight admission to Nile University or any other higher school in Nigeria or abroad (particularly the UK).

Who is eligible to apply?

  • Those who have completed WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/IGCSE or its equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits in English, Mathematics, and three (3) other relevant subjects in a maximum of two (2) sittings.

  • Those who do not have a JAMB score but want to apply for direct admission to the institution.

  • Those who want to switch from one discipline to another (e.g from the Arts to Sciences)


Structure of the Program

Students must pick three disciplines related to their planned degree programme in addition to some mandatory courses to which they will be exposed.
