Emeka Nwajuiba, the Minister of State for Education, has resigned to pursue his political ambitions in the 2023 presidential election.
On Wednesday, May 11, he announced his resignation during a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
All heads of agencies, departments, parastatals, and ambassadors with political ambitions have been asked to resign by President Muhammadu Buhari (retd.). Also copied were the offices of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, and other government entities.
