2022 JAMB Registrations Requirements For Students

Joint Admissions Matriculation Board(JAMB), is an educational board in Nigeria that is responsible for giving tertiary institution aspiring Nigerian students entrance examinations that will determine whether they are fit for it or not. An example of such examinations is the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It is usually taken by students who have just graduated from the secondary school. 

Students who pass the examinations are usually provided the opportunity to study in the tertiary level educational institutions in the country.

JAMB Provides the guidelines required to take the UTME. The guidelines come in form of publication that includes the starting date and ending dates and all processes and documents  involved in getting candidates admissions into the university, colleges, or polytechnics.

Before even heading to the point of JAMB registration, students should, students are supposed to go through the JAMB IBASS to get to know of the informational facts in the brochure and syllabus system.


THE MAIN THINGS REQUIRED FOR JAMB UTME REGISTRATIONS


A JAMB Profile

You will need to create a profile at the JAMB's website, www.jamb.gov.ng. This is where your information will be stored and made easily accessible by you. It is also where you will check your admission status thereby accepting or rejecting the admission after a successful registration and result from the examination.


Note: JAMB e-pins and Profile Codes are usually required for a successful JAMB Examination registration and taking.

Olevel Results - WASSCE/WAEC, NECO, or GCE

Valid And Working Phone No.

Home Address

Email Address


These things will be required in order to compose information on the students.

The olevel results can be combined, but it shouldn't be more than one sitting. Example: if you failed two important subjects in your 2017 WAEC, and you managed to pass the same two subjects in your 2018 WAEC; you can combine them and complete your JAMB registration.

Note: Your result should have Alpha's To Credits, and not lesser than credits.


People ask, is National Identification Number(NIN) compulsory for the registration of the examinations? Yes, it is, infact as a result, the Board had to suspend the registration processes for 2days or so in order to arrange it's integration into the examination system.
