2021 JAMB Registration Postponement

The UTME registration that was supposed to take place from April 8, 2021 has been postponed. There are certain things that needs to be put in place in order for things to go according to the Boards' plan. Students were told to be patient till JAMB works out the protocols.

JAMB never posted the editorial objectives as normally done, and so has the vending PIN processes not been completed. The editorial objectives which normally comes in a publication and advertisement which contains the commencement and ending dates for all the processes involved in making the year's UTME Examination take place. JAMB sets the comment date for registration and make known to the students what the students have to do during the commencement of the UTME registration.

Apart from the vending pin process delaying the commencement of JAMB registration, NIN integration is another stumbling block towards the commencement of the UTME and Direct Entry Program. This was all made known in a statement from Dr Fabian Benjamin, head of JAMB's Media and Protocol. In his words said,

“The Board’s registration exercise was to begin today 8th April 2021. To be sure all processes are completed before the commencement, the Board didn’t place its advertorial as we are yet to complete the process of a smooth PIN vending and candidate access to the registration app for the 2021 UTME/DE,”

He also added,

“The delay is caused by some unforeseen circumstances occasioned by our determined effort to have a NIN integration. This challenge is being resolved and once that is done, all processes shall commence,”

Shortly, the JAMB activities towards the UTME will come up running in order for students to be able to create thier profile. The Dr implored that students should be patient.
